I have interviewed for several IT jobs. All of them felt like a sacrifice of what I wanted. For the first time in an interview with Rygo Labs, I felt like I was truly being myself and being honest about what I wanted in life. Even more refreshing than that was that it was met with excitement, not skepticism. I feel like the culture at Rygo is something I will and have had a hard time finding with a job of this nature. I would love to chase an opportunity to make a career here.
I came back with plans to return to my summer job immediately but there was a couple of weeks before I could get back on to the schedule. My friend knew I was slow on work and offered me some work in the mean time. It was to complete a tedious task for his business which got my gears turning.
I ended up building an AI automation that fixed this problem and sold it to him, this started Southernmost AI Solutions. I went down this path with web development as well doing freelance work which is still growing for me day by day.
